About

Ashley Chen - Portrait.jpg

Hi! I’m ashley.

My mission is making users feel thought about and cared for.

I am a Senior Product Manager based in London, UK.

I design meaningful user experiences to empower users in their daily lives. Combining my BSc. Computer Science knowledge with my work experience as a Senior Product Manager at SAP, I bridge the gap between business, design, and development and help drive change and innovation at SAP.

I work on a global team in SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions to help SAP run SAP. Due to my immense passion for understanding customer behaviour and building user-centric products with data-driven insights, I have taken the initiative to start on an innovation project with my colleagues, and now have been selected as the Top 3 Finalists for the Hasso Plattner Founders' Award - the most prestigious innovation award at SAP.

I am passionate about mentoring and coaching young women in the tech industry, and am currently leading the BWT Mentoring Program and contributing to Girls in Tech’s Global mission of encouraging and supporting women to stay in technology, while on the Board of Directors for Girls in Tech Vancouver.

As a Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador and a big advocate for women in the workforce, I am dedicated to create a welcoming community that empowers women and the minority in the tech industry, help them find their voice, and make a positive impact in the world. I want to be a voice, sponsor, and leader in it. It’s important to show up to advocate and push for progress.

As a lifelong learner, I enjoy surrounding myself with people who inspire me to continuously grow and learn. Please feel free to say hi and I would be happy to chat.
